I am a native Texan.  I received my medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.  While completing residency training in medicine, I was inspired to write my first published novel, Thin Yellow Line, among other things.  I still live in Texas with my loving family.

As an author, my goal is to give to others what so many authors have given to me:  to make the literary world a better place, to elevate the mind and spirit of my readers and to create literary works my family and friends can enjoy together.
